Horizon is our large-scale alternative: eight graphite-and-silver computing halls organized around disciplined service circulation, with a broad, low administrative pavilion anchoring the arrival experience. It is not a reproduction of the reported nine-building Cochise County application. A long horizontal reception gallery, a campus-scale mission operations environment and a substantial shaded staff commons give this study its own interior identity. Screened technical yards, a separate illustrative electrical/support zone and a restrained desert landscape frame the architectural vision. The objective is a cohesive campus—not an attractive lobby attached to anonymous sheds—developed through a full-design engagement with the appropriate licensed and technical project team. This independent SpaceX-oriented proposal does not establish a commissioned relationship, approved site plan or operating capacity.

Independent Arizona Design Proposal
KOLD’s November 5, 2026 report describes a SpaceX-hosted community meeting about a proposed data center near the Apache Generating Station. County application SU26-22 identifies Tombstone Resources L.L.C. as the applicant. The county lists an approximately 747-acre proposal with up to nine computing buildings, subject to review—not an approved development.
Relay, Meridian and Horizon are TSD’s original alternative scale studies. They are not three announced SpaceX projects, a reproduction of the filed site plan, or a commissioned design package.
Our proposed role connects the campus identity, arrival sequence, interiors, materials and landscape into one coordinated design vision. The operations team’s everyday experience matters as much as the first impression: clear wayfinding, practical support spaces and a workplace shaped around the scale of the facility.
Development would require a site-specific brief and qualified architecture-of-record, engineering and specialist teams. Power, cooling, water demand, acoustics, ecological impacts, security and permitting must be studied and validated. Illustrative equipment and layouts do not establish technical performance or regulatory compliance.
